Welcome to our blog!

I thought we would get going by thinking about what Louise raised about the relationship between value and need.
In the gold case, for the Rotherham project, we realised that gold had a different value than we, as Westerners, associated with it.
In this project, what is valued seems to be at the heart of the project - is it a Papyrus from the time of Moses or Kate's father's wheelbarrow?
Answers on a postcard please.

Value is interesting. Kim had to explain to the head of the council today that the flood damaged items needed to be conserved and not replaced as they were all linked to collected naratives -not a wedding dress but somebodies mothers wedding dress collected with wedding photoes and a ring warn for 50 years - Artemis does not really collect these naratives which gives items potential but somehow less historical value or resonence
