It's very neat and well constructed I had imagined a shopping trolley fastened together with Bailing string in my minds eye.
But it fits the things made for stuff to go inside idea which I like very much indeed which also links to the sheep pens and the archive boxes. And in a strange way your dads wheel barrow which clearly was not big enough to hold it's intended contents.

Where is the rubbish thing that this woman made to put her rubbish in in the street?
I DREAMT about that object it is stunning.
Is this a similar sort of thing?

similar but much more accomplished I would say. Tools for very speific jobs - like the blade in a swiss army knife for getting stones out of horses hooves. I saw a couple today carrying about eight carrier bags full of shopping on a stick between them - perhaps we are finding family resemblance in things or moments.

yes it is similiar, but different, the rubbish thing was made from stuff at hand on the street, me dads thing was made from a store of materials, so as steve correctly deduced more considered less cobbled together. I like the fact the womans rubbish thing was adaptable when a more suitable item was found and therefore changing, i said to her it was amazing and she just got worried i was a looney, taking her photo to put in the paper!
I think in reference to my main comment this object had definately grown
